Back Again and Ready to Sew!!!!!

Dear Readers,

I am back in Australia from my US/Canada trip and ready to continue with my sewing adventures. The trip was amazing and some of the highlights were meeting Peter Lappin and other great Sewers/Blogger as part of the Male Pattern Baldness Day 2012 and in private (more on this in next post).

Today I just wanted to give you and update regarding my Tailored Jacket.

The Tailored Jacket Finished

Excuse the Mess on my Sewing Table :)

The Tailored Jacket is ready  and really light to wear.  I think I will be able to wear it with number of things. The good thing is that fabric is not too light which allows for this jacket to be worn in Spring & Autumn and an occasional cooler Summer night. In all honesty, this jacket was finished on the 4th of August or morning when I was about to leave to US. Unfortunately due to the time constraints I didn't manage to report on update at the time.
This jacket traveled with me to US & Canada  as I was looking to wear it for The  MPB Day 2012  which didn't happen as the weather was humid and warm which made this jacket an obsolete item on my travels. Nevertheless, I was back yesterday and we currently have 20  degrees (C) in Sydney, which is  perfect for me to wear the jacket.
